I'm Amber the Artist behind Extra Caffeine Designs.

I am a very eclectic artist and do a little of everything. My specialties are portraits, Pattern Surface Design and mixed media blending physical art work with digital.

I make brush stamps for Procreate, I take requests too!

Sculpting is my favorite but I am painfully slow at it so it remains a hobby. Keep an eye on my socials and you may catch a glimpse at my other hidden talents.

I am heavily inspired by nature and all things spooky, supernatural, and mystical and find myself blending these things into my art. Oh and Moths. I really like Moths.

My son likes to collaborate with me as well and gets full credit. He dictates some of the designs. Surfing Skeleton? He’s very proud of that one.

To be fair, I’m also a Halloween year round kinda girl and am more than happy to make his visions come to life.

I was born and raised in the PNW but currently find myself in Texas. We’re already plotting our next destination.

I’m a wife and a Mom to a very energetic kid. We have a tiny dog that we refer to as “Old Man Rebel”, “Rebel Von Puppy-fur”, and “Rebel Wait-for-it”

I have been an artist since birth. In high school I even took AP Art. I briefly went to fashion school, but I was more interested in textiles than garment construction and they didn't offer what I was looking for. I set off on my own after that and like most starving artist I became a barista.

I love coffee and all the creativity that comes with it.

I came full circle in 2020 when I found pattern surface design. I had no idea that's what it was called, or how to do it. I dove in head first. Pattern surface design is exactly what I was looking for in college. Now I'm a pattern making monster.
